This is crazy. Last year I needed to get rid of my 15 yr old bauer custom supreme 1000 hockey skates in exchange for some new technology.  I went to that hockey store near the Vaughan Mall and the price for the Bauer One 90 Sr skates was $799.00 plus our two taxes of course.  I found the exact same skate in the US at full price listed at $499.00 with only 1 state tax.  The difference in savings could by new shoulder pads a composite stick and a jock strap for crying out loud.  Canada's pricing is screwing its own hockey players!!!  Time for a change wake up Canada and stop taking this price gauging.
