I signed my contract over to a friend as I was leaving the country and had one more year left. When I signed up for the plan Rogers made it sound like a breeze to sign the plan over. When it actually came time to do it we were in the Rogers store for an entire afternoon. The staff lead us through several mistaken transactions, including a $100 security deposit and a change over fee. Sales staff weren't able to assist us directly; instead we were faced with endless wait times over their phone help lines. Now the first bill arrives for my friend and they charge him a $77 change over fee even though it was already paid from my bank account. He is frustrated and I am overseas, so unable to assist. I have e-mailed them repeatedly yet they have chosen to not even acknowledge my requests, aside from the automatic response confirmation.Rogers are pirates and thieves, plain and simple. They show little regard for the customer. They are a sociopathic organisation; the worst model of corporation. Please, if you read this, take your business elsewhere. Cell phone providers are much better here in China; what does this say about the state of Canadian telecom, with Rogers the worst of the bunch?
