I had Rogers in Orillia, Ontario, Canada for Internet, cable, phone and then cell phone. Was paying bills of $600.00/month. Left Orillia in November, could not pay my November bill, including cell phone bill of only $81.00/month. I am now in Longueuil, have another service with same features except the cell phone, and am paying an average of $165/month for the same service.

Rogers has been sending me threatening letters, adding interest on this $600 bill to reach over $1,000, and cutting cell off on January 14 2010. Yesterday they called - Indian chap, what else, and they are making a "very important final decision on my case" today at 10:00 AM, May 20, 2010.

My husband deserted me for another woman, but I paid the Rogers bills by myself in Orillia.Not only do not have enough money to pay $1000 in arrears, but I am enraged at what they have been bipping me for in the past, and their irate Indian manners and threats.

I think the guy's name was AFFA - contact number 1- 1-866-463-9161 extension 6250 named called Metropolitan (probably a credit company (local). How can I handle this - going to complain to the BBB in Canada

How else can I avoid paying this outrageous bill and what is the THREATENING "final decision on my case" that they are going to make?
