Seriously. It's not as if Rogers has a lock down on the entire
wireless market. They just happen to be the only major provider that
uses the technology required for the most popular phone. Ok, so Rogers
hikes up the price of the plan? It's called supply and demand. You
could say that the other providers are just as greedy, because they
choose to use CDMA technology, which means that you have to buy your phones from them and not from a third party.
You're
not obligated to use Rogers, and I don't know about you, but I consider
the iPhone to be something of a luxury item. Complaining that an
iPhone is so expensive is like complaining that a Ferrari is so
expensive. Maybe you should just get a Honda Civic.
