Rogers throttling SUCKS!
They also BLOCK a lot of phone options that the Iphone can use like the ability to use interrnet aps "like" freephone. I'm not sure what all they block, but I know a LOT of people couldnt use skype, aND they throttle/block PVNs and encrypted traffic... IT's hit or miss however, as THEY see fit to block whatever the want and don't tell us...
NOT to mention, they imposed a bandwidth limit on customers as of Jan 14, 2008, YES THEY SAID THEY WERE GRANDFATHERING CUSTOMERS BEFORE THAT DATE TO THEIR OLD RATE!
There WAS no limit before that, and there was no cost for going OVER the "old limit". So WHAT grandfather??? The 60 gig limit is totally new and so is the new charge! If they were HONESTLY grandfathering me, the old rate was unlimited with NO charge... They said they were grandfathering peole "at their old rate". They aren't doing it.
