Skydome was a symbol. It was a Canadian thing. It was a landscape. Why did the Governmenet gave it to Ted Rogers for FREE!! (almost)

How selfish can a person be to change the name of that beauty to ROGERS Centre? I hate that name.. many Canadians do.

Why not rename CN Tower name, Rogers Tower? What's next?

Change the name back to its ORIGINAL.

SAY YES To SKYDOME!

I miss it so much....

SkyDome was a great name for a great stadium that distinguished canadian love for freedom among other countries. Now, as Rogers ruined another canadian anthem, canadians feel screwed and hopeless.

Rogers doesn't want your money - it wants your soul and dignity.
And that is something that Rogers will never respect! Be aware and eliminate that parasitic company from your life before they'll get too far.

I agree... at the very least, they could have called it Rogers SkyDome.  That would have been acceptable.

The story that is told internally to employees is that Rogers wanted to keep the name SkyDome but apparently the name wasn't being sold, just the facility.
So there you have it, believe it or not.
