A few years back, while I was on a contract with Rogers. I was quite young at the time, and midway through, I decided that I didn`t need a cell phone any more. Little did I know what a ``Credit Report`` was at the time, they had sent the balance of x amount of $ to collections.
So, I`m at the bank, to check my credit report. Was looking alright, until that rogers collections came across the screen. Some odd hundred dollars, so I paid it in FULL. Anyways, my credit was royally screwed because of owing Rogers a few hundred dollars. So... I signed a contract stating yada yada yada, I didn`t hold my end up of the deal, so I owe you guys money. OK, fair enough, I messed up but here`s the twist.
For some REASON, they had decided to DUPLICATE my owing from the same bill and send it towards another COLLECTIONS company after I had paid it in FULL. and For these past couple years, this other collections company has been stating on my report that I owe them money for this same bill and it`s almost doubled because of the interest. Can you say W T F with meÉ
So I call Rogers, he can`t say anything besides I`m going to send this other Collections company a letter and it`ll take 30 days to resolve, no surprise there.
Then, I call the Collections company hoping to get some instant action, and got this damned rude lady 3 times in a row, first she gives me a false number to call ( wasn`t in service), 2nd time she hangs up on me, 3rd time she picks up and just lets the phone hang off the hook. 4th time around, some fellow who seemed to speak english quite well thankfully, starts giving me all kinds of attitude telling me to call Rogers and only Rogers can deal with it.
Getting to the point, they`ve WHOMPED my credit, over a couple hundred dollars... the first time, ok, that was my fault. But the 2nd time around, after I willingly paid my dues in full, still say that I owe them money. THE FUCKING NERVE. As if they didn`t do enough damage to me the first time around, they decide to give me more hell to deal with.
So not only do I have the one collections (which I`ll gladly accept responsibility for) but NOW I have this 2nd one, that is completely random and a definate LOW BLOW from ROGERS.
The worst part is I`m still with them for my current cell phone. If anyone knows another GSM based cell phone company around in the GTA, please e-mail me.

``FUCK YOU. I will go out of my way now to make you lose business.``
The thought of this guy laughing his way to the bank makes me fucking sick. and I`m glad I found this site, good job to whomever came up with it!
