I have been all over the world, and it seems that the costs of having a mobile phone in Canada are absolutely ridiculous. I have travelled to 8 different countries in Asia and got 8 different SIM cards for less than I would have paid for one from Rogers. It's a money-fucking hungry monopoly. I have yet to find a country where the costs of having a cell phone are as much as with Rogers. But do they really care about what the people have to say, or are the people in charge too busy spending our hard-earned money on some beach in paradise. They have the choice to make wireless more affordable for everybody but are fuelled by greed for more money than they know what to do with. It will kick them in the ass one day however, and I look forward to the day. Not only did we have to wait over a year for the iphone to be released in Canada, now we have to pay ridiculous amounts of money for data transfer..well played Rogers. Oh, have you thought about extending your contracts beyond three years? People like options!
