rogers sucks, liers!
| rogers said that my bill would be 30$, the month it came it was 60$, TWICE AS MUCH. called and complained but they gave me this shit excuse about all these extra charges. i did not go over my monutes or my amount of text msgs. why the hell are we getting ripped off?! its criminal. im going pratically going broke from my phone bill. and guesss what? 200$ to get out of the plan

I agree. Ted Rogers you are an idiot, and ass, and an idiot ass. this is not about being unable to afford a
phone. It's about being told you CAN afford the phone and then getting
charged DOUBLE for it. Think about it, if you go to a Pizza place and
ask for a slice of pizza and the owner tells you you will pay $5.00,
and here comes the owner and pulls out a contract telling you to sign
that you will pay for pizza, without disclosing the TOTAL price first,
and you sign away. Then the pizza owner comes by and brings you the
pizza and then says, "oh, here is your pizza for $5 but there is a
store access fee of $7 and then you stayed an extra 20 min walking
around in the store so that's another $3, plus you talked to someone
else so that's .50 cents. Would you allow that? Or would you say "im
not cheap i'll pay 3X for this pizza than i was told!" BULLSHIT YOU WILL! This is what
the big three are doing to Canadians, why? Becuase (a)there is no
competition to make prices lower (b)they're greedy (c)no one is saying
anything about it and if someone does no one listens or cares. |

you guyes dont know anything of what your talking about. this is buisness, they cant screw up. the charges they give you and cant credit you is not for no reason, its for a good reason, partial charges or even over charges cuz ppl cant calculate their money. how bout you start asking more question when your at the rogers store when you buy your phone, then run out and go blabbing on of your new purchase. thats the problem with ppl who buy cellphones!, you dont take it seriously, and guess what the sellers in store they just wanna sell, and thats it! so next time you go in store make sure to call rogers before activating to know if the seller is saying the right thing or not. yeh but its still rogers seller that are ripping us off, so tecnicaly rogers is paying an idiot to make me get stuck in a contract. no these stores are franchise, that means this isnt rogers training these agents but the manager of the store that paid rogers to have the ''Rogers'' name in front of his doors. so next time then buying a blackberry for the look and not for the usage, or the iphone thinking internet is free, or texting without any concious thought on the price of each text. damn it get informed!

I totally agree. I just got a$ 2.54, and cents billed to me, not knowing bout hidden fee's getting charged for changing my plan etc...fucking low life losers!

Store I am complaining about:
Rogers authorized dealer (cellcom) 200 Whitmore rd Unit 9 Woodbridge, on L4l 7k4 905 850 8505
Here is the deal:
Bought
my phone may 6th. It worked at the store. He told me to take it home
and charge it for a DAY. I did that and it would not turn on after.
Brought it in after work on may 8th. Natalia said it was cracked- I
only had it for a day, bought the insurance and I cant understand how
charging a phone could crack it. I believe I got a lemon.
She sent it in for repairs under my reluctance because there was no visible damage
July
29th I receive a text message from Rogers saying the phone is fixed and
at the store. Ever since then I have been calling the above-mentioned
location asking nicely where my phone is. I was calm and cool always
saying no problem when each time I called they had no idea what I was
talking about. No one cared and I kept getting the same run around.
About 4-5 weeks ago the new manager, Alfonzo took my call said he was
on it. Didn’t hear back for 3 weeks- once again. Now I am angry. How
hard is it to find a phone?
repairs only take 2 weeks
Apparently it got sent somewhere else- not my problem, right?
Called
and complained on the phone with the 1888 Rogers 1- and they cannot
help me because it is a vendor. So they told me to go to the store and
demand for a new phone. So I did.
I went in early last week, brought my friend and demanded for a new
phone because it has been months of their empty promises. He told me he
knew where my phone was (and failed to contact me for 3 weeks) I made a
huge spectacle in store- talking about bad customer service is. He
denies everything and I want a new phone now. Basically he said he
would not help me but give me a 75-dollar credit to my account. He
could not do anything for me- AND this was the manager. The manager of
a store could not help me; his superiors (district manager Dan) would
not help me. Only when I mentioned the letter my uncle the lawyer will
send did he say he’d have it in the store in two days.
It takes a grown man to get treated like a five year old for him to
get off his ass. I have been calling there and asking politely ever
since I got the text message July 29th! No one else I know would have
done that. Everyone I have spoken to said I should have gotten mad
months ago.
I just believe that people should be able to handle situations without yelling.
I
went in on Thursday. My answering machine clearly states the phone will
be in the store the morning of October 8th. I went in after work and
they didn’t know where my phone was. I have the manager on the phone
and one of the co-workers on the phone with Sony Eriksson trying to
find where it is. At this time it is 4:30pm October 8th.
Why could they not phone earlier when they noticed it was not in?
After 5 months and the scene I made a day earlier, you think they would
have put this case at the top of the list. The manager was in that
morning and had finished his shift right before I got in on the 8th.
I told him via phone (at the store on the 8th)- that I want him to
find my phone and I want my 75-dollar credit. He said he could only
give me 50 dollars. I was outraged! At least he could keep the promise
he stated in public when I made a scene a few days back. He proceeded
to yell at me (saying i am taking advantage of him and that i am a
liar) on the phone so I hung up on him to call his district manager.
Dan (DM) promised me 50 dollars now and 25 dollars in February. I left
the store only to get a phone call half an hour later from Alfonzo
saying that the phone is being held hostage from Sony Eriksson because
they have no confirmation that Alfonzo paid for the phone to be shipped
out. I now get promised that the phone will be in Tuesday Oct 13.
Here is where it gets real pathetic. He proceeds to tell me I am
taking advantage of the situation and does not need me to be causing
stress in his life by making a scene in HIS store. He then tells me I
am confused about how things work there.
Here is the difference: he thinks I’m confused- I actually don’t
care about his mistakes- it’s not my problem. It’s been 5 months since
I have seen my phone because they gave me a shitty product. It’s been 2
and half months since I have called there every three weeks asking to
speak to a manager for some help. This is not the first time he has
been through this situation. He told me last week he had the same
problem and that girl got a new phone. I can’t get a new phone cause my
charging of the phone apparently cracked it on the inside. B.S!
All I want is for someone to care about me enough to do something
and not insult me in the process. Alfonso is a manager and as a manager
it is his job to make sure I leave that store happy. It is his job to
shut up and hear what his customer have to say. He is to be a listener,
not a provoker.
If I do not get my phone on Tuesday, I am canceling my account, and
Rogers online knows this. I would really appreciate you look into this
as I am positive more people have gone through the same problems at
that location.
Everyone I talk to has a story about that place.

I was a life long customer of rogers with an out standing paymeny history, (even tho I felt their billing was unfair many times, recieving $600 phone bills is robery!!) I always pain on time and in full. Well I had to claim bankrupsy a year ago and did NOT include rogers because I could handle the bill and needed my phone for my business. A YEAR LATER Rogers decided to cut me off with no warning at all, on a friday, and said nothing could be done until Monday. I was told to call my bankrupsy agent because my agent was the one who sent the papers, I figured it was a mistake and called my agent. My agent said she had no idea what was going on, so I called Rogers back. No one at Rogers knew what was going on, it took three days of phone calls and taking to a supervisor, to find out that it is ROGERS POLICY TO CUT YOU OFF IF YOU HAVE CLAIMED BANKRUPSY WHILE USING THEIR SERVICE even tho I was a life long customer and they were NOT included in my bankrupsy. The supervisor I spoke with was extreamly rude and basically told me to pound sand, I told her to shove the $250 bill where the sun don't shine.
About a month later I recieve a bill in the mail for $1065. They charged me cancellation fees for the two lines I had with them, they cut me off, I didnt ask to be forcefully cut off after paying my bill faithfully every month, on time. I HATE rogers, I want everyone to know that they are rip off artists, every month I had a problem with my bill. They say its going to be $150, its $300. I would not recomend rogers to anyone. They don't care about their customers! |
