Oh yah, and if you think making money ISN'T  the prime objective of EVERYONE, just think about the 'adsense' revenue being generated by this website.  The only difference you will make by posting to this site is generate more revenue for the owner of this website.....think about it.........

Sorry to burst your proverbial bubble, but it was the protests and complaining that got Rogers to offer the 6gb data for $30, which has now been extended until the end of September. I know many people that not only decided to actually put their money where their mouth is and not buy the iPhone, they also canceled all of their services with Rogers as well.

Everyone has to do more than just complain, or post on this forum and others like it. DON'T BUY THE IPHONE! And don't buy ANYTHING from Rogers whether it be a mobile phone, home internet, cable, or even rent a movie from them. If just a small percentage of people actually stood up and acted with their wallets, instead of just talking big with their mouths, Rogers would have lowered their prices already.

Instead we had people loudly complain here and elsewhere, and then actually wait in line to buy an iPhone. And to top it off, then they come back here and actually admit to the fact that they bought an iPhone and, get this.. complain again! Words simply can not describe the stupidity of these people and their actions.

I still have faith that more people will actually do more then talk, and Rogers has been very helpful in the cause by pissing off a record amount of people in such a short period of time. Unlike gas prices people do have a choice. You have alternatives for mobile, internet, and cable providers. You even have alternatives with renting movies. USE THEM. Don't buy anything from Rogers and things will change.
