hey eddie i opened up my cable box and all i saw was a main wire leading to a splitter, i have rogers vip package now but am canceling it next month as my contract is up then. just wondering if when i cancel it will they put the filter on it then or if its already there and i missed it? please email me.

Question. I recently moved into a new condo, Rogers appears to have made some mistakes in stopping/changing my services.

According to the my online Rogers profile, I no longer have internet or digital cable. But they are still fully working in my condo.

I even received a call from Rogers asking why I canceled and why Im no longer interested in their services? I played along and told them that my wife and I were just focusing on 'family time' 

Its been a month now and Im anxiously awaiting my first bill to confirm my suspicion that Im getting away scott free.

Is there anything that could go wrong here if I continue on using these services and keeping mum? Can Rogers do anything about it 6 months from now when they realize I havent been paying for cable/internet?
 

i JUST got basi cable and internet today, i did not realize hat basic cable only meant 28 channels, i thought it was 70 channels. I live in an apartment building, and i want more channels, anything you can suggest? i feel decieved lol. We have no idea how to get some free channels though, you seem to know what you are talking about. please help!! :)

i believe i hv the digital box already, and so i hav a wire goin frm my wall into the box and then one frm the box to the tv..my frd suggested i jst skip the box n put the wire straight to the tv, and i wud get all channels...
does this sound possible? safe? can i jst cancel rogers cable and just keep the internet then?

I know this post is nearly 3 yrs old.  But the inspector (whoever) has now come by 2 times in a year period to re-attach the filter.  This time...it is totally jimmy proof.  I can't get it apart without cutting the lines.  Why do they check so often?  Can they test signals in the road or somethingg?
