They don't carry the iphone but they have the LG Voyager that it's somehow equivalent, it allows you to surf as the iphone and has a built in TV system.

They DO charge roaming fees!!! .69/min while roaming.  Read the fine print!

When I spoke with Verizon they told me that there was no roaming charges for Canada on that plan.I'll contact them again  to clarify the issue.I'll let you know. Maybe that fineprint refers to countries other than Canada and US..

I can clearfy this for you. The story goes like this. Verizon used to have a trully awasome plan called North American Plan, which included no roaming and no long distance anywhere in US, Canada, Mexico and Puerto Rico.

In the meantime (probably because of all the mexicans getting one and using it with mexico) they adonadoned it but they now offer the Nationwide Plus Canada. This is the one I have for the past 9 months and I can tell you you only pay the monthly fee (I have the 59.99 with 450 anytime day minutes + 1000 evening& weekend) and no other fee. I can call any US and Canada number at no extra charge and I use this phone anywhere I wish. Just calling. If you want DATA on it it's too costy and not worth it. But for calling only it's the best.

While in Canada the Extened Network is displayed and everything is fine. While on Verizon network (so just in US) you also get 1000 minutes for calling other verizon numbers.

It is the best thing I discovered and many friends of mine have it. The people in Canada just give me a BEEP I see the number and call them back.
