I have never heard such a bunch of pathetic whiners in all my life ! " I can't afford an iphone !" , "Rogers is ripping us off !", "Unfair prices ! Even the Phillipines has better price plans". Oh BOO HOO ! You know what, NO ONE IS TWISTING YOUR ARM TO GET AN IPHONE !! Stop being hypnotized by the ad companies to buy whatever they want at whatever price they tell you is fair. You don't like Rogers prices ? THEN SWITCH TO A COMPETITOR ! STOP BEING BABIES AND DO SOMETHING CONSTRUCTIVE. Poor Taste?

we want the iphone because it is a great product not because of ad companies.. we want to switch to another company than rogers but apple decided to make the iphone GSM and rogers is the only gsm provider in canada... and we are complaning because 3rd world countries have cheaper voice plans and data plans than canada...

It's not about being hypnotized by the advertising. The iPhone is the first decent cell phone I'd actually enjoy using. I've had nothing but frustrating experiencing using phones, and I'm paying for features on my current phone that are next to impossible to use. I want the iPhone and I won't be screwed by Rogers.

I'm with Ted. I need GPS, Web Browsing and MP3 in the same phone, on a touch screen. The iPhone is the only one that does that well enough; the only other phone with those features was "not well recieved by customers" a.k.a. a piece of crap. But Rogers KNEW it was the only possible provider, and now they're trying to milk us for every penny. What this country's cell phone industry needs is more providers. But even if the prices go down overnight, I won't be buying the phone just yet. Apparently there's a mobile virus out there that hijacks iPhones and their services. Buyer beware: You're not just getting robbed by Rogers anymore...
