without advising consumers... if u send one or 20 text msgs, you pay 25$ a mth for sending text msgs to USA!!

I'm with Fido..but Rogers owns that., and I hate them both lol.
A few months ago, I got a notice with my bill saying that texts to the US would be 0.25$/msg. And even tho I have a text plan...doesn't matter.
All I do is text to the states, so I am pretty pissed about it.
The only thing they had to odder was 4$/25 txts, or 7$/50...
And I said.. yeah ok, I can go through 50 in an hour if I wanted to..
The guy on the phone seemed shocked..but I said, well, yeah, duh, hence me having a 2,500 text a month plan.
I think it's complete bull. I went to the states and they have much better plans then we do.
total bullshit.

sigh... I have the same problem.  I guess I'd be switching to either Telus or Bell
