I am a Rogers customer. When I asked how much for an 8 gig Iphone (I tought I would get a better price than 200$ for upgrading) they tell me 384$!!!! Are they nuts? I wnat to give them more money (with a data plan) and they want to charge me more than a new customer? What gives? Poor Taste?

they told me it would cost 800$ for the iphone if i choose to upgrade because i have not been with them longer than 18 months. i just told them to fuck off

Mark: what do u expect Rogers or any other wireless carrier to do in your case, hand you a $600+ phone just like that and allow you to walk out of the store, who knows you may unlock it and sell it on ebay for $800...... do you blame rogers for protecting their rear's? I dont....on the flip side, I am glad atleast they gave you the option of getting an iphone for $800, you should have asked them, "if you want to charge me $800, would this phone be network unlocked" ??? thats the important question to ask them. good luck

Alas if you are under their 12 month window to upgrade, you have to cancel your contract ($400) and then reapply as a new customer to get the 16gb phone ($299) thus the total is $699. Granted if you had a data plan with them already, add another $100

Rogers screws you if you are already a client and paying money to them. Even if you are outta contract you will not get any better deal than a newbie off the street! As the saying goes ROGERS SUCKS!!! I suggest all rogers customer leave...its your wallet...its only a new gadget, I wanted one, I have the money, but I walked away and I am happy to say good but to both Rogers and the apple iphone. D

Rogers will sell to a total stranger there iphone but there customers oh relax in a few week we will have something so you 2 can get a iphone and we will make you pay so much. thank you for being patient to be sucked
