Stop being so bloody careless and shy, Call your local MP, MPP and start giving them heck about the cellular industry in Canada. If enough Canadians harassed their elected politicians, we would have some representation in the govt and hopefully something gets done.

Contact CRTC and ask them what it is that they actually do, while sucking down millions of dollar every year. If CRTC actually gave 2 cents about Canadians, we wouldnt be in this CDMA, GSM mishmash that we have ended up in....stupid retards. Had we all GSM operators, for one thing we would have automatically the competition we desperately need among the big 3 (Bell, Rogers and Telus). If CRTC had half a brain, it would never have allowed acquisition of Fido the other possible GSM operator in Canada. If CRTC had any vision of the future of Cellular industry, it would have mandated all of the operators to get onboard with GSM, WiMAX etc because it has no vision, we the consumers are being raped by the big 3 !!! while CRTC stands by and watches the show......How about opening up the wireless indsutry to foreign operators, lets see how fast Ted Rogers can run !!

How about writing few emails to Rogers management?
How about emailing your local newspaper in your city, town, county whatever.....raise the issue and awareness

this issue needs to be addressed from any and all angles, WE Canadians are NOT going to bend over and take it up the rear ANYMORE.

YES we can do this, if enough of us stop shrugging their shoulders and saying, "all I care about is, low prices" its not just about low prices stupid, its also about technology, especially a globally accepted technology......stick with GSM...if all operators WERE gsm, we would have had some healthy competition already
