I was at a rogers store yesterday just to see how the iphone is selling. I saw 9 16gb sell and 5 8gb sell within 30 mins. they had people waiting in line @ squareone store and many had to go home without one because they only had enough for people that were on a waiting list. and the fido booth was selling them also.. so i guess we are out of luck, rogers won't be lowering prices...
Yup you're right, why would the Toronto Maple Leafs lower ticket prices if people still continue to fill the ACC at $200, $300 and $500 a seat. No petition in the world will lower prices further unless they see a big decline in sales and they have no choice. At least they lowered it a bit, bottom line we still pay more in Canada period end of discussion.
Why would they lower there prices? They aren't that high anyway. If you can use more then 6gb on your phone in one month.. you need a life. 30 bucks ins't a bad price at all.
JP, first of all the 6gb limited time offer expires August 31. As of right now Canada pays the second highest in the world for the iPhone. After August 31 we will once again reclaim the crown for the country that pays the highest in the world.
If you don't mind paying the highest in the world to own the iPhone, go ahead keep paying. Others think it's time to stand up and demand to be treated fairly.
