and I absolutely LOVE it! It's worth every penny paid. If you can't afford one, that's too bad... but if you can I would recommend doing so. It's the greatest piece of technology I've ever purchased. Rogers has shitty customer service, yes... but their price plans are reasonable if you have a steady income. It increased my current cell phone by a total of $30/month... well worth it for what you get. You truly won't understand until you have one and see for yourself though. I am SO glad I went out on opening day and got one. I LOVE IT! Poor Taste?

I would love to get an iPhone from Rogers but was told that because I'm not eligible for an upgrade, they refuse to sell me one. Rogers blames the agreement with Apple and claims that in the future(???), I should be able to purchase one at a much higher price....what BS!!!

Because I was already a Rogers customer and hadn't been with them for long they said I wasn't eligible for the $199- price tag but could buy one for $299-!

After waiting all day to buy one because of the computers crashing I was pretty steamed to find out I couldnt buy one for $199-... I mean, no where in their marketing did they ever say the phone could potentially cost more than $199-.

I called up Rogers customer relations (from the store) and threatened to leave over it... they offered me 3 free months off my $30- data plan and waived the $35- activation free... so my iPhone actually ended up costing me $174-!!!!!!!

I guess the squeeky wheel does get the grease... or in this case, a slightly lower priced phone.

p.s. I just wanna say again that the phone is SO AWESOME it was worth every bit of aggrivation I went through getting it and knowing what I know now actually would have paid the $299 for it!
