I know this has been brought up before, but I feel that it needs to be said again.
The simple fact is that Rogers simply will not change their ways while people continue to buy their products. We as Canadians only have ourselves to blame. Look at what has been happening. As one group of Canadians sign petitions, bombard Rogers with angry calls and emails, another group line up outside Rogers stores, eagerly waiting to buy the same product we are complaining about. Not only that, they are praising Rogers for bringing said product to our country.
If you were Rogers, what would you do? The iPhone sold out nationwide, for the most part in one day. They most likely will continue to sell out for months to come.
If you want to make a difference, we all need to say NO MORE! I for one cancelled my Rogers wireless service years ago. I also stopped using ALL Rogers services, including TV, phone, even Rogers Video. I will NOT be buying an iPhone, even though I am a loyal Apple customer. I have also let Apple know this as well.
I'm all for Petitions, but it's obviously not enough. We have to all band together, and hit Rogers where it really hurts.
