Another practice by Fedex and UPS is the unfair 'brokerage' charge added to ground shipment. The parent Fedex and UPS should be petitioned to discipline their Canadian branches who 'sully' their good corporate name by this 'predatory' business practice.

I ordered a $40.00 item on Ebay from the U.S. it cost $37.00 to ship and another $35.00 on Duty and Taxes. This is absolutely ridiculous.

This is a for sure, we overpay for all shipping in Canada. Its a flat rate in the US for shipping with the US postal service here it matters where you send it and we get nickeled and dimed to death.

Agreed. Canada Post is ridiculously slow so that doesn't help at all.

Have your boxes delivered in the US close to the border and clear it yourself to the custom without any brokers.
