iTunes gift cards USELESS in CANADIAN app store
| You can't use your iTunes balance to purchase apps in the Canadian iTunes store (only credit cards), but in the US store, you can. On top of it, the US store also accepts Paypal.
Really unfair...

Agreed. I wish I was paying attention before my credit card was charnged over a hundred bucks for the apps id downloaded. I hope they fix that, not really sure why it does that. Even the Apple store here didn't know about that when I said it was happening. |

My son purchased a gift card for the sole purpose of downloading games for his ipod .. only to find out that this is not possible in Canada. I see NOTHING on the iTunes web site that says that gift cards are not acceptable currency for these products.
And, to make matters worse, iTunes will NOT refund my money. They have un-redeemed my card so that I can give it or sell it to someone else.
I wish my son had taken my advice in the first place and NOT bought an Apple product.

Ick, thats all I can say.
Wow, my carpool gave me an iTunes card for my birthday.
I was like 'ohmygosh' that is so cool.
Since I bought an iPod Touch earlier, I can get some apps for it.
Not that kind of dumb-butt 'web apps' or that kind of crud.
I mean like 'GO ANYWHERE AND YOU CAN YOU DO IT' kind of apps.
My friend's mom has an iPhone, I love playing with it.
Like, AWESOMENESS.
I searched up why can't I download my apps?!
And everyone is asking that too, and all you can get is, 'You only can do that in Canada.'
I'm like, no-way.
Are you kidding me?
There should of been some sign that could of said:
'YOU CAN BUY APPS FROM YOUR iTUNES CARD IN USA ONLY, IDIOTS!'
Ughhh, I'm done my ranting.
One more word before I go: FAILURE.
