Today July 11th, is the day I canceled my 8 year old account with Rogers Wireless. They could have stopped it, but aparently they don't like to cater to loyal customers.

After 1hr on the phone I managed to get them down to $92 + tax for 250 local anytime, + unlimited nationwide long distance + $30 6GB data plan, 6pm unlimited eve, wknd, no voice mail, no caller id, and no text messaging.

I decided I'll wait until competition comes before I get an iPhone and until then I went to Koodo. I got five unlimited talk text and pic msg both local and long distance #'s, cid, vm, unlimited txt pic msg 250 anytime mins by the second billing, 7pm unlimited eve/wked and no system access fee, for $55 plus tax.

If you think about it, if Koodoo had the iPhone (which I know is not technically possible) and they added the $30 plan and the 6.95 sys access fee I would be up to 91$ apx, still cheeper than rogers, and I get a whole lot more.

WOW ROGERS, YOU'RE A RIP OFF!
