WE NEED TO PROTEST!

I spent 88 minutes on the phone with ROGERS today. Yes 88 minutes as in 1.5 HOURS regarding the iPhone.

I am outraged at how they treat their OWN customer. I have been with rogers for almost 5 years and still I have the SAME PHONE!

I am tired of being rejected by a company I pay money for. I am cancelling all my rogers services and changing phone companies as soon as my contract expires.

What I want to do is protest against these filthy pigs that want nothing more then control of the market and charge whatever they want. They control 100% of the GSM market which eliminates any potential user to use the IPHONE (even if unlocked or purchased elsewhere) with another company in CANADA.

If anybody is willing to setup a date and protest against rogers. Join us. I am sure the 60,000 people who signed the petition did not do it for a $100 PHONE BILL every month.

Lets make changes, the time is NOW.

You think maybe today was the wrong day to call in?  Like WTF???  Everyone is calling in.  There are lineups in the stores.

God get a grip , it's a phone not a lung transplant !

Imagine if everyone put as much effort into things like the environment and for that matter life in general ??

Hi Gabe:

I do understand the need to speak up against questionable business practices by wireless companies. My biggest concern is the "system access fee".

As far as the system access fee is concerned, I'm thinking of sending out emails to all the big telcos expressing my concerns with it. We could also send emails to the future wireless auction winners encouraging them not to incorporate hidden fees in their plans.

Secondly, Wikipedia has just added an article on system access fee. If you have some concrete sources of information on system access fee, you could contribute there.

If there is ever a peaceful demonstration against the hidden fees, I will probably be there.

Keep the ideas coming.
