Don't forget about Virgin. They have the start of some interesting plans such as a unlimited calling during a six hour period of your choice (or 8 hours for an extra $7 a month) and they offer unlimted 'mobile web' browsing for only $20.If we can just get them to remove the 'mobile web' from their unlimited package and offer the full web...then we have an interesting option. They're a company that's known for their customer service. They get my vote.

I'm in if it is at least this good:
1. Don't need unlimited data as 5 to 6 GB is pretty much the same thing. So let's say 5 to 6 GB of data usage. 2. At least 300 minutes of talk time per month 3. Voice mail/VVM and caller id included 4. A text message package of some sort. I'm not a big texter so others can chime in as to what is a reasonable amount. So the above for a total of $75 per month or less including all the system access fees etc. Oh, and forget a 3 year contract. That is a deal breaker for me and the main reason I have not bought, nor will I buy, an iPhone 3G. No more than 2 years on the contract! |

If you can find something better there is no reason to stay with Rogers. If Rogers is willing to offer a proper unlimited package than I'll stay with them. As long as it's not a short term promotion. What's the point of staying if we have to face the same problem when the first contract period ends?
