My contract was up in November - I've just been waiting to renew in the off chance Rogers would get the iPhone. I think that Rogers' current disregard of significant negative public sentiment about their pricing plans makes it easy to decide to switch to another carrier. I will cancel if they don't improve the plans, which would be a shame considering what a good opportunity the iPhone can be for them. |

Back in May 2008, I clearly expressed my displeasure on how Rogers Wireless handled my mobile account (now closed). On two separate occasions I had made a change request and both times they improperly handled it (extended my contract by two more years, charged me for my incoming and outgoing calls on top of the $20 plan (on both occasions), removed my voice mail feature without my consent). To this day, they still do NOT have the guts to respond to my most recent e-mail on how they should handle my complaint. All this happened before their much-hype announcement about supporting iPhone.
Do you truly want to subscribe to something new with this "caring" company when they clearly don't give two turds about you, as a paying customer, and your concerns and issues for their existing offerings?
In an effort to make their iPhone July 11th release date memorable, I encourage you to spread the word on how Rogers had mistreated you by telling everyone you know, visiting ihaterogers.ca and ruinediphone.com, and doing your part--I have and will continue to.

I have a contract until next May, but I may very well pay to get away from this company. I certainly won't be back when it's up.

Rogers is NOT a company to do business with my 3yr contract is up the end of august and i will NOT be renewing it ..would love to have the new apple i phone but unless they get of rogers wagon i never will. |
