plan is so expensive because of rogers' monopoly in the gsm arena. the government must step up and allow other players to compete with this opportunistic company. i will cancel my phone when the iphone is launched as a sign of protest!

That doesn't make sense. You are willing to hand over $20 a month that's left on your contract for what? To give them your money for free and not even get anything for it? Seems like it's counter-active.

I'm cancelling my Rogers Wireless account of 7 years on July 11th, 2008 in protest of Roger's iPhone data rates and their continued, shameless exploitation of a GSM monopoly in Canada. May your greed become a case study.
