Rogers, I have been treated like crap from day 0, when I was informed moments after I completed my registration, that I was signed up for a 3 year contract when I actually signed up for two. I have dealt with poor reception in Burnaby, BC (should be covered perfectly, according to everyone I talked to). I was told it would be fixed in two weeks every time I called. I have a my5 plan, and cannot change my phone numbers without calling a representative (I was told the website would be fixed in two weeks every time I called). I get continually charged for US roaming fees when visiting family in White Rock (note: near border, but not in the US) which I continually have to call and cancel. I was so frustrated with the situation at one point, that I shattered my phone against a nearby wall. To top it all off, I am paying a considerable amount for these services, entirely out of necessity. Unless things change, you will not be seeing a repeat customer from me, or my family. Goodbye Rogers!

I've been using Apple products since before the Mac (Lisa was my first). My business runs on Macs, so I've been waiting a year for the iPhone. Will I buy it? NO! And it's all because of Rogers. I've been hanging onto my Fido account for over a year now (because I knew it would work with the iPhone)... I'm giving about a week to add an unlimited data plan at a reasonable price, then it's "so long Fido!" I'll find a cheaper "work around" with another service provider.
This isn't just bad for consumers. It's bad for Canada. One company's monopolistic greed puts an entire country even further behind the technology curve. Disgraceful. |
