my long 3 yr contract ends this dec.. i will cancel my account with rogers because the rates r too high n they do not reward customer loyalty...

Yes, I'll cancel my account, I was and the phone with Telus this morning and they have really good plans, my contract finish with rogers on August 31, so until them you my rogers have and opportunity to earn my business...Gus

I have already cancelled my Fido account over their refusal to upgrade my account so I can get and I-phone. The price gouging is bad enough, but they want me to complete an existing 2 year contract (executed in Feb) before I can get one, even though I am willing to upgrade to a 3-year data plan! So they'd rather take a $200 cancellation fee rather than a $3600 contract commitment. The corporate lunacy here is out of control. |

The thing is people you can be angry all you want. But the real problem is that you have bought into iphone/rogers hype. Even the negative press Rogers gets still adds to the hype and Rogers wins. Ask yourself why do you want/need it so badly......... Just walk away from it. My guess is the majority of the people that want it so badly are carrying a lot of debt on their credit cards anyways. Sure it's cool but you don't need it. Stop playing into corporate hands ......stop being such sheep......just walk away.
