A former 10-year Rogers customer, watched as Rogers crippled and hollowed out their High Speed Internet service. Fed up with low bandwidth caps, aggressive bandwidth throttling, use of DPI equipment, and injection attacks on webpage content. Cancelled all Rogers services to the tune of $130/month in December 2007 and am now using an independent ISP (Teksavvy) for service.
Congratulations, Rogers executives, you have taken a potential coup against other wireless providers and turned it into a millstone. Even better that you have opened the eyes of Canadians who are completely fed up with your treatment of them.
Thank you for reaffirming my decision to purge my household of your company's products. You have also very effectively removed any temptation I may have had to come back.
Time for you to reap what you have sown.
