I always ALWAYS record my phone calls with rogers or any customer serivce rep. I ask them right away for the client serivce number of the person I'm speaking with (which usually wakes them up).
I found this useful last time when getting a cellphone account for my gf. The agent promised me a discounted rateplan and I made him list out all the conditions and price.
When I called back to confirm the details of the account after getting the phone I got the "oh it wasn't avtivated to that rate plan" I simply said "well he told me to call back in and confirm, I have it recorded... would you like to hear it?... he then said "oh ok well we can make the change to the account right now".
Yeah... how you like them apples.
