Let's face it. It does not matter what Rogers charges. I'm sure there will still be lineups for IPhones tomorrow. The bottom line is some people just don't care what they pay. Some people have other's paying for them, eg, parents, boyfriends/girlfriends, companies' etc. For the remainder of us, there is only one solution - Boycott the Iphone and/or Rogers. At least for now. Guaranteed, if Rogers has a surplus of IPhones that they expected to sell, and are just sitting there in their warehouse - they will crumble. But we have to be patient. The Iphone has been out for awhile now, (version 1). This is not something new. So it has 3G, so what? It's not something that we MUST have. If we are to make Rogers come to their senses then we must hang tight. Besides, the IPhone isn't that great anyway - no vision calling, no removable battery, no second camera, no video recording, no wi-fi, no free gps. I may just end up buying an Ipod Touch. Either way, the price will come down if we just hold off for a bit. Personally, I'm waiting for a better IPhone to come along, as well as data/voice plans also. Poor Taste?

its sad. but its true, there will be lines of people who just cant wait for prices to drop, and dont care what they pay....... but its not good for people like us.!

Sorry, it does have wi-fi, but you have to pay for GPS, not like the Windows Media devices that have apps like Tom Tom to get GPS for free.

If they were rich, they aren't stupid. They must be doing something right. Spending more time thinking about how to make more money. Spending so much time over a few dollars won't make you rich.

By the time you actually need a new battery (18month or so), you are eligible for an upgrade and there is probably a better iPhone 4G. iPhone has Wi-Fi, GPS is never free. You pay a premium or subscribe to monthly GPS service if you were to get a standalone GPS. If you were in the market for mobile internet, iPhone is ideal and much cheaper than iPod Touch. I am not a fan of iPod Touch. If I have Wi-Fi, that means either I am at home, or near a Wi-Fi hotspot. Why would I want to browse the web on such a small scren and small keyboard when I could pull out my laptop and enjoy the internet to it's fullest extent? iPhone makes a lot more sense. It gives you the freedom to surf when you are away from your computer or Wi-Fi connection. Oh, did I forget to mention, you have to PAY a fee to use a Wi-Fi hotspot, and to get that 6GB of Data connection at a Wi-Fi hotspot, it would cost you way more than $30.

I will boycott Rogers, even if that means not having an iPhone. As much as I would love to have one, I just cannot deal with Rogers any longer.
