I'd just like to know why on earth gas is high in Canbada than in the US when we hear all this stupid hype about how Alberta has all this oil,and we have just as much as the middle east etc.Well...I'm sick of it!If thats the case,then why we paying 1.35/Litre in Canada?Why isn't our gas cheaper if the almight Alberta has gas?Does no one ever ask?What ever happened to the batter powered car?Homda and GM during the auto show in Detroit showed off 3 water powered cars!!!Why wont they sell these to the public eh?You know in Brazil is costs uinder $5.00/barrel to make gas from sugar cane?Why dont we get this gas imported if corn is so expensive?no one bother to ask? Poor Taste?

We in Alberta do have the oil & gas to be sure, but since you are obviously to stupid to do any homework before Alta bashing, I will resort to speaking at your level...in crayon. It is not Alberta that dictates pricing, delivery, trade, etc. It is done federally, and since you are neither up to date on one or both, I suggest you go back to grade I and start over...Idiot.

Just gor your information, on your gax price, 1/3 goes to the governments. If the government abolish gaz taxes and sales taxes, we will pay less than the US.

It's because of a lack of Canadian refineries. if we had more we would be able to drop the price of our gas. instead of buying it back from American refineries

Kim has it 100%. Currently we ship most of our Oil to the USA to get refined than ship it back to us. Even now the major oil companies in Fort McMurray are planning on building a major pipeline to go from there right down to Chicago. Canada needs to invest in more Refineries in western canada. It's rediculous that im paying 1.35 a ltr for gas when all last summer I spent my days building pipelines from several diffrent gas wells, all located in the mid alberta area. Theres no shortage of work in the oil and gas fields, so how can we have a shortage of oil and gas? I'd think that if we were as desperate for oil and gas as they claim, they'd need to start laying people off, but instead they seem to be hiring faster and harder than ever.

when the USA say no Canada say ok. like venezuela they pay 0.12 Cent the gallon with their own oil and the population is higher then canada
