Personal taxes: 20% higher in Vancouver.
Sales taxes: 5% higher in Vancouver.
Gas and other goods: 20% to 30% higher in Vancouver.
( Go to Canadian Ikea web site and compare the prices with US IKEA - 30% difference )
On top of this : deposits for bottles in Liqueur store, deposits for plastic bottles of Soda, environmental fee when you buying new monitor or TV, carbon taxes and the monopoly of ICBC on top of this ...

I agree , we have a good medical care here , but not 30% of population working for medical industry.
We must cut a government expenses at least tree time.
