What about taking it out of the BILLIONS they rake in already on fuel taxes?

It's going to happen eventually anyways, people are going to start using other fuel sources, ones that aren't yet taxed. $$ tree is bound to get smaller, so why not working on a more productive means of making the change instead of taxing the hell out of the existing one while it lasts...

Petitions should go out against this, this was the worst idea they've come up with yet.
What about taxing the organizations that have to run 50 x 1000 Halogen bulbs every night to light up empty parking lots, or buildings that need to light up there entire roofs for the cosmetic look even though the entire building is closed till the following morning.

Many ways to cut down emissions, this tax is just another way of saying "shut up canada, or you'll pay if you really want results!".

Just my 2 cents, but the B.C government has stepped over the line on this one!
