All of you people that complain about prices of plans and such need to do your research... Pricing is and will always be based volume. The USA has10 times the population yet similar geographic distances to cover. So in the USA, a cell phone tower will service 25000 people (for example)... That same cell phone tower in Canada only services 2500 people. Yet it is capability of servicing 25000. These towers cost the same to build, operate and maintain, but don't have the same users.
Canada does not have the population to get the same amazing pricing as our US neighbours. Until we become the same size as the US, get used to these prices! Companies need to make a profit or you won't have any cell phones! So stop your complaining because it is not going to fix anything. If you think the iPhones cost too much, don't get one!
