It's different.

With a voice plan + $30 for 6GB compare to the entry level $60 iPhone plan:

You gain: more minutes, 5.6GB more data.

You lose: 75 text msg, no wifi-hotspot (where are they anyways), visual voicemail.

If you plan to use data a lot, it may cost a little more but it's a way better deal.

Hehe... I know doesn't it just piss ya off! Damn, was taking to a rep from Rogers today as well.  Yep, they are trying yet again to lock me into a 3 year contact in which the data/voice plan cost with shoot up. No thanks I said! I want something better I said... if you want my business you'll have to come up with something comparable to "x" plan from "x" company.
What got me is that they were trying to justify their awful prices.
Don't forget that elusive system access fee as well.... wow! Oh yeah, I'm still being charged for my evenings which start at 9pm at a premium.

I was told the $30 for 6GB plan can only be added to a voice plan of $35 or more.... I've been on a $25 plan with voicemail and call id for 3 years and it comes out to $50/month total, but i guess adding only $30 to that is not enough for these greedy bastards.
