All this talk about the Iphone, what about blackberries? are they ever going to get a decent data plan also? I'm currently on a blackberry plan where i'm getting 4MB for $25/month, 4mb goes REALLY quick.  I use the internet quite a bit, and if i wanted to get a 6GB plan, it would be $100/month.

I do hope that whatever plans comes out for the Iphone, the same data plans will be available for the blackberry. Although, they are still bogus even with the 6gb plan they offered.

I know - annoying isn't it!

At the beginning of 2008, Rogers started offering UNLIMITED email to bb devices for $15/mth. But it doesn't include internet browsing. Rumour has it Rogers will offer the "revised" Iphone plan for the new BB device about to be launched

yeah, the unlimited email thing didn't seem that great since i wanted to be able to download MP3's, and applications. Thought 4mb would be enough, but then i saw that 1 application can be 1mb in itself. So.... I maxed out my MBs in the first month within 2 days.

Only new BB devices? thats too bad, i guess i got mine 2 months too early. And now i'm forced to pay for the next 2 years.

you can change your data plan at rogers without penalty or recommitment as long as you maintain the original terms taht you signed with. so if you have a current plan your not stuck and the new data plans for blackberries are not just for new customers all customers have access
