It would appear that the Rogers PHBs have had major problems understanding one critical idea...

Well, I don't know what takes Rogers, their new offer, 6GB of Data per month for 30$ per month with Any voice plan for the iPhone, until August 31 for signup.

Well...may I remember that this is not special at all. May I remember that Telus offers a 30$ per month data plan for Smartphones with Unlimited browsing & email or unlimited browsing & text messages with a 30$ voice plan minimum (which is just 5$ above the smallest voice plan).

And, it's even less for normal phones.

I agree 110%. there is no reason to gouge. Markets can be saturated with the right prices and services that will secure customer loyalty. right now, I will never lock into a long term contract with any carrier and jump at the first sign of a competitive option.
