Why must we Canadians be charged ridiculous rates for wireless usage while the rest of the developed world pays much less? No incoming call charges, data usage galore, reduced contract terms and limitations... allow foreign entities such as Vodafone and Orange to come to Canada! :)

Chris in regards to you not wanting data - you don't have to get data. You can purchase the iPhone without having a data plan and you are then on a pay-per-use service if you do use the HSPA or EDGE network. |

To Rogers,
That's how I would like to have an Iphone:
Voice - 200 min + unlimited evenings and weekends starting at 5PM! Voicemail and caller ID - included Text messages - 1000 - I am happy with that. Data - 6BG is fair enough. I am happy with that.
TOTAL PRICE INCLUDING ALL THE FEES AND TAXES = $50
That's how the Iphone will be popular. Otherwise, it is just a gadget for the Elite. It's the 21st century. The masses should not be excluded. It is simple math. If it is cheap, the more will be sold. And more profits for the company. And everybody is happy. Simple!
Maybe it is also time for a CDMA Iphone. Some competition would be healthy!

Rogers doesn't mention a no data phone price? |

$25 minimum voice + $30 data + voicemail/caller ID $7 + System access fee $6.95the last time i checked, that still adds up to over $60 dollars oh wait, now that we have a more reasonable data option, we still have to pay those mysterious carrier fees... and how many text messages do we get? don't even compare it to AT&T or any carriers in the US, let alone Asia |

AGAIN, Rogers does not listen to it's potential customers. Offer UNLIMITED data on ALL your plans, and be comparable in price to AT&T in the states. The iPhone is STILL a ripoff right now and NO ONE should buy it.
