This is still pathetic.  Until they offer competitive, unlimited data rates, Rogers still aren't redeemed.  When the competition offers unlimited data for $10 per month, 6GBs for $30 doesn't look so good, does it?

Also, factor in that you'll be paying an additional $8 for visual voicemail, and voila, you're paying nearly $40 and you still don't have the amount of data offered by the competition for far less money.

I think this is a step in the right direction. I was hoping to pay about $30 more than I am now for unlimited data, but 6 GB is a big jump from 300MB. As for being a limited time offer, Rogers has realized that the people taking advantage of this offer are the ones most likely to go over the lower data plans previously offered.

While I think there is still room for improvement, and I think the time will come when the plans are much better, the fact that Rogers changed at all has surprised me. It shows they at least care a little.

Obviously they're making it a promotional deal so they have a successful iPhone launch!  BUT after you add in visual voicemail, caller id system access fees and a small voice package you're still paying a lot!!!!The data package 30 bucks for 6 gigs is pretty good but we still have a way to go on overall affordability!  They should take off the limited time offer for sure and offer more competitive voice rates!  AND LONG DISTANCE rates within CANADA should not exist in this day and age!  Long distance rates is an old school mentality that cell companies capitalize and should't!  It's robbery!

Ok lets get some things straight here, 6GB is more than most of you would know what to do with so quiet down for a bit. If you have the generic $20 or $30 megatime plan thats great, then add on the $30.00 6GB plan, and even the $15 valuepack (smartphone) and your at $65.00 plus a $6.95 SAF. First of all almost every carrier charges a SAF fee and all you people are doing is complaining!!

You got a good data plan, now your complaining about everything else.  You people need to try learning how businesses work instead of bashing everything because you aren't getting what you want for free.

The $30.00 6GB plan is a good deal, if you are worried about the time frame get your butt off your computer chair and get to the store to make sure you get one of these!
