This POST is very stupid. Why?

1. AT&T's UNLIMITED is 5GB cap (fine print), at least Rogers has the decency to tell people they offer 6GB up front.

2. I agree, the $30/6GB/month should be an ONGOING offer. However, this does not indicate that they won't continue the "promotion" or have a better or comparable price plans effective September 1.

3. Competitiveness of voice plan rates got NOTHING TO DO WITH iPHONE. It is a general problem and it will not be fixed by an iPhone petition. We should see price drops and more "promotions" as it gets closer to the launch of new wireless providers.

Rogers is so ...! why not do this in the first place!

Now, still NO go, until the unlimited data plan is reasonably priced, and not just a "Limited-Time Offer".

when they say any regular voice plan, do they mean the plans offered with the iphones?

This is still crap anyway! The 3 year plan is still way to long! A 2 year plan would be more resonable!

Not disagreeing with anyone. We are being ripped off!!!!!

If you do the research into how much data you will actually use, even extremely heavy users of iphons have a hard time getting up to 5gb / month. The average iphone usage doesn't exceed 500 mb per month per user. Also, there are no truly unlimited plans. The US plans are capped at 5gb but are marketed as "unlimited".
