I went to Bufallo for the May long weekend. While their Rogers sent me 2 text messages, telling me that I could use my phone on another network, which I thought was great! But they charged me for that, which was a shock! Now after calling them, they reverse the charges but to think I would actually pay for that?!

This isn't even close enough. Its the same horrible plan but they are now saying "For 30$ more a month you get 6gb".. No rogers this isn't anywhere near enough.
I will be getting a samsung intict with bell if rogers isn't able to meet at&t's service plan.

The TRUTH is all Canadian wireless providers are all in the same gang bullying us Canadians as they please. Roger's if just the mob boss of them all...forget about "Bullying @ school" commercials they need to start on "Wireless providers bullying the Canadian market" ones!!! How can the say "Here is 6gb...we're sorry!" when we've been asking all along for UNLIMITED. I've been with Rogers since they bought out CANTEL years ago and I have other services with them but am willing to pull out from their services just to spite them!

This is garbage, what happened to competition, this is a monopoloy and should be investigate by the trade commission. 4 wireless companies is not enough competition and they need to lower prices further, not competitive at all.

It's not nearly enough as I would see it. I have an iPhone using O2, if the UK mobile telecom companies can offer for £35 ($70 can) a month unlimited data, 600 min, 500 texts, voice mail etc, and only an 18 month contract, here in London, one of the most expensive countries in the world. Why Can't Rogers? What makes Canadian Corporations get away with such Hubris, "oh we are a Canadian Company we can charge what ever we like!" Rogers, CanWest and Quebecor need far more competition, they are all monopolies in their own markets. Canada needs the European telecoms companies to come give them a run for their money. That would put the fear of loosing customers then...

This men has a point. But I think most people who want an iphone are tech geeks (including myself). We enjoy playing online games, downloading "stuff". I know people who can easy use 20-30gb per month. : ) Does that say something about the general public? And doesn't that reflect why Rogers are so hesitant to give unlimited?
