I wouldn't say "WE WON" but it goes to show this kind of thing can have an impact on a huge company like rogers. We didn't get unlimited but we proved a point to rogers and they listened. It's something and everyone should be proud of what was achieved.
If people don't look on the bright side of this, you really need to rethink your life. Where in your biggest worry is trying to pressure a huge corporation (whos main fucking goal is to make money in the first place) into letting you have unlimited Data plans. Yah it's not unlimited but jesus. With this you are getting on average 200MB a day. Yesterday the cheapest plan got you 400 for the whole damn month. Realize that what this site set out to do, did just that. It didn't achieve it's goal of goals, but it proved that Rogers can be pressured. Is it perfect? NO. Is it something? YES. So on friday go out, get your 6GB a month for 30.00$ and shut the hell up.
Thats actually what I was affaraid of, Rogers offering something A LITTLE better to make people calm and then again back to the Mission ! RIPPING PEOPLE OFF !
Don't take the bait people! You'll still be locked in for three years which will leave you out in the cold when real competition comes to the GSM market. I'd be interested in hearing from American iPhone users to see how much data they actually use on their unlimited plans with the original iPhone.
