I use Uniserve for High Speed Internet. Reasonable than both Bell and Rogers. Check them out at http://www.uniserve.com/

We need to work against the Communication Cartel that we have here!! The Triopoly has to be stopped in Ontario!

It amazes me how difficult Rogers makes it to cancel or reduce any level of service. It appears that anything resulting in Rogers loosing money they have you jump through hoop after hoop after hoop.

I am putting off buying the iPhone and will be switching from Rogers when the alternatives are presented.

I've been with Primus home phone for 3-4 years and they've been consistantly amazing. I only pay $15/month and get every feature imaginable included. For only $5/month more, you get unlimited long distance in all of North America.

As for cellular, I've been thinking about switching to Koodo. They have half-decent deals, no contracts, and no $6.95 service fee. You also only pay $5 for unlimited text messaging.

If you really want the iphone but not sign up with any contracts with rogers or fido, the apple store in the states sells the phone for 199 also for the 3g. now they say you must activate and thats fine, but they dont do any activations at the apple store so...go to apple in us, buy the phone, show passport (2 iphones per passport), pay 199 each, bring back to canada, get unlocked for 30 bucks, put sim card in, use and enjoy. since the iphones have wifi, you can use the internet with any wifi hotspots or your home if you have wireless router. phone will work fine.

such an amazing devise brought down by pure greed! we need another company to come into canada and show rogers that they can't bully us any more.
