I thought I learned my lesson with Rogers many years ago, but I was foolish to think that they would actually care about the consumer. Rogers I really really hate your tactics and NO I will not buy the I phone even though I want it badly. Period.

Virgin = Bell
Koodo = Telus
Fido = Rogers

As of now, there are no alternatives to Rogers, Bell and Telus when it comes to mobile phones in Canada.

Telus mobility, its getting the instinct, very good service, nice rates, only downside is their stupid new charge for incoming messages.

Bell owns Solo, not Virgin

I agree with you their are really no alternatives out there other than the big three. Virgin is teamed with Bell and Telus to use their towers for signal.

Further than that solo,koodo, are both owned by Bell and Telus(how we can rip you off!) Also they work on different networks than Rogers and Fido. Ultimately the GSM signal is much better without getting into the technical aspects of it all. We are for the time being at their mercy for the best service. It does not give them the right to rip us all off.

Bell offered a plan a couple of years ago that paid out your cancellation fee if you were leaving Rogers, Fido, or Telus there have been rumours that they will bring this back to take as many Rogers customers as they can get because of this iphone ripoff Rogers is running. Keep your eyes opened and stay tuned!!!

I think that the most important thing to do is NOT SIGN A CONTRACT with whatever company you choose. This way you negotiate your terms not the billionaires who run them. Trust me on this one, pay a little more for the phone and don't let them boss you around for 3 years. They are all the same so for now Koodo and Solo might be a good idea but your money still goes to some big wig that doesn't care about you. Let's send Globalive a petition of how many people are willing to sign up with them if they win the Wireless Auction and set up a GSM network!! Keep up the good work. And BTW I can definitely confirm that all the Iphone shipments have been cut in half since this whole petition so the rumors are true about Apple being angry! Keep up the good work!!!
