I'm with Fido on their original City Fido Plan Montreal. The deal is great vis-a-vis what many colleagues & friends pay around me. BUT, I agree that the iphone is supposed to be accompanied by services that deem it worthwhile. What Rogers is offering -from what I understand- is not nearly enough for the early adopters (guys & gals that will really be pounding out high internet usage) OR the rest of us.
Rogers, give the iphone what it needs, bandwith cheap! Work on getting low rates and some crazy offer to entice people who are with Bell, Koodoo, etc...to break their contracts and hop on board. Now, with the iphone is your best shot!

i been in rogers for almost 3 years now, but recently i went to koodo to switch and tried to keep my number with them and they helped me to get my account number from rogers. once you called rogers they will try to keep you and offer something else blablabla just to stay but don't take it.

i think this is a good way to help them realize that their service and pricing are worst

You could always buy an iPhone online (The first one) since it will probably be cheaper (maybe, maybe not) then unlock it and get it with a better plan, a plan of your choice.

Maybe it's time we build our own wireless co-op. Look to Wireless Nomad in Toronto for an example of how.
