I called Telus to see what they would offer me if I switched, because instead of the iPhone i'll just get the HTC Diamond. They will pay up to $200 of the fee to break my contract, 700 daytime minutes, voicemail, text, unlimited data, 5pm weekdays will only cost me $40 a month for the first year and then $70 the remaining years, but I can also downgrade my plan without any penalties. I then called Rogers to see what they had to say. Not much they wouldn't budge, and said their hands are tied (the csr). He even admitted to me he isn't a Rogers customer and doesn't agree with what they are doing lol.

VOPIGO,I needed a new number and went Voipgo. I also had to get Rogers portable internet so that I can make my calls, check my email and website from my car. Yes I run a website as a part time job and need to have access to it often. So Rogers is still getting money from me. .lol

Wow, I'm surprised people pay so much per month! I pay $25+tax+LD a month for my cellphone plan.
I get, voice mail, caller id, call waiting, 100 anytime minutes, UNLIMITED evenings and weekends (after 7pm!!) and UNLIMITED texts.

My service provider?
Virgin mobile. Make the switch. It's so worth it.

plus i work full time and don't really use my personal cell at the office, I use my office one. so after 7pm is just great.

I would definitely be interested in a good value alternative.  Please let me know.

Why not write an open letter to Richard Branson (Virgin). He would be a good partner for Apple in Canada. Those brands could align very well.
