I feel I am being ripped off by StarChoice by them not offerring local programming (in the Maritimes) and by charging extra for most HD channels that you would otherwise already pay for.  I pay extra for TLC (among others) but I would have to pay extra again for get TLC HD.  I shouldn't have to.

 Poor Taste?

There actually is a legitimate reason for them to charge more for HD channels -- it requires more bandwidth to broadcast in HD.

They shouldn't get away with charging more than a dollar or two extra though, _especially_ considering you already pay for TLC (non-HD)..
